These Official Rules & Regulations (the “Rules”) govern the conduct of The National Quilt Museum’s Christmas Quilt Grand Prize Raffle and are binding for everyone who purchases a Raffle ticket and/or who is named on a Raffle ticket. The Raffle is a fundraising activity conducted by The National Quilt Museum. These Rules may not be waived, modified or supplemented unless such waiver, modification or supplementation is made in writing by The National Quilt Museum.
PRIZE DRAWING
The drawing for one grand prize in the Raffle will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, except this date and all other dates stated in these Rules may be extended at the absolute discretion of The National Quilt Museum. In the event the Raffle is postponed, all reasonable efforts will be made to notify ticket holders of the new drawing date. Online ticket orders must be received before 7:00 PM CDT on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Tickets may be purchased at www.quiltmuseum.org/raffle. The drawing will be conducted under the supervision of The National Quilt Museum. The winning ticket will be drawn at random from a drum containing all eligible Raffle tickets. The drawing will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 4:00 PM CDT and viewable by the public at The National Quilt Museum, 215 W. Jefferson Street, Paducah, Kentucky, 42001.
PRIZE AWARDS IN THE EVENT OF NON-SELLOUT OF TICKETS
The price per ticket is $10.00. A maximum of 1,500 tickets will be sold. If fewer than 100 Raffle tickets are sold, The National Quilt Museum reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to postpone the date of the drawing until a date that is within seven (7) days from the date on which the minimum of 100 tickets have been sold. The ratio of prizes to tickets is a maximum of 1 to 1,500 if all tickets are sold. The National Quilt Museum reserves the right to cancel this Raffle contest at any time, in which event liability is limited to the refund of the ticket price to all participants.

The National Quilt Museum understands that the IRS position is that amounts paid for chances in raffles, lotteries or similar drawings for valuable prizes are not gifts and, consequently, do not qualify as deductible charitable contributions.
The National Quilt Museum assumes no responsibility for Prize winner’s tax obligations and suggests you consult your tax advisor. By participating in this Raffle, all ticket purchasers and the person named on each Raffle ticket accept and agree (1) to be bound by all the rules, limitations and restrictions set forth here, and (2) that their names and/or likenesses may be disclosed to and used by the news media and may otherwise be used by The National Quilt Museum for publicity purposes and naming of the Prize winner to be published in area newspapers or other media including television, radio, web and print with no additional compensation. The Prize winner may be published on The National Quilt Museum’s website and social channels.
By participating in this Raffle, each participant releases The National Quilt Museum and each of their respective members, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, but not limited to, liability for injuries, losses, or damages arising from or caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize; and winner agrees to indemnify and hold The National Quilt Museum and each of their respective members, directors, officers, employees and agents harmless from any and all losses, damages, costs, expenses, rights, claims and actions of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the winner’s acceptance or use of any prize.
ELIGIBILITY
Raffle is open to the general public, and ticket purchasers and the person named on a Raffle ticket must be at least 21 years of age at the time of purchase. Offer void where prohibited by law.
In order for the Prize winner to receive their Prize, The National Quilt Museum shall notify the winner verbally in person or by phone or in writing and the winner shall claim their prize within thirty (30) days.
If the Prize winner does not claim their prize or donates it to The National Quilt Museum within thirty (30) days after having been contacted, The National Quilt Museum shall notify the Department of Charitable Gaming and draw another ticket in the presence of Department personnel. The tickets shall remain under the control of The National Quilt Museum until another Prize winner is identified and accepts the prize.
The Prize will be transferred to the Prize winner by The National Quilt Museum.
REFUNDS
All Raffle ticket sales are final. No refunds will be made. The National Quilt Museum assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected or non-delivered email, mail or fax messages, or any other failure to receive orders or deliver receipts prior to the drawing deadlines. In no event can The National Quilt Museum or their respective directors, officers, employees, members, committee members, agents, contractors, advisors, or representatives be liable to any party for any loss or injuries to earnings, profits or goodwill, or for any incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages of any person or entity.
TICKETS
Tickets are $10.00 each. Raffle tickets may be purchased exclusively online from The National Quilt Museum at the following www.quiltmuseum.org. Online ticket orders must be received before 7:00 PM CDT on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.
You may buy as many tickets as you wish, subject to availability until a maximum of 1,500 tickets are sold. Each Raffle ticket is a separate and equal chance to win one grand prize.
Ticket orders must include valid credit card information to be eligible. If the credit card transaction is denied for any reason, no ticket shall be sold; and the ticket purchase request is null and void. Ticket number(s) will be sent by email to the email address provided at the time of purchase.
PRIZE WINNER
Winner notification will be made by telephone, email, US mail and posted on the web page. The winner will need to provide proper identification to the satisfaction of The National Quilt Museum. Winner agrees to the use of his/her name, photograph or videotape likeness and statements for publicity purposes by The National Quilt Museum and agrees to sign a publicity release without any further compensation.

This Raffle is licensed by the Department of Charitable Gaming and is conducted by The National Quilt Museum, License Number EXE0000398, for the benefit of The National Quilt Museum.
The National Quilt Museum (NQM) opened in Paducah in 1991. The museum was the vision of Bill and Meredith Schroeder, influential Paducah publishers and founders of the American Quilters Society. NQM quickly attracted a national and international audience and became a powerful economic and cultural development engine for the Western Kentucky region. The museum received its national designation from the United States Congress in 2008 as "the nation’s repository for the finest work by today’s quilters."
The NQM is a non-profit 501c3 organization and has welcomed more than one million visitors, curated more than 250 exhibitions and served nearly 100,000 students.
